OUR 4 CORE PILLARS
The number 1 key to a healthy body and a healthy mind. 60% of all illness and disease is caused by stress. We stress and worry about so many things nowadays, that it almost has no limits. The vast majority of the things we worry about actually never happen! Start taking control over your thoughts and realize that there are no stressful situations. It’s how you perceive, handle and look at the situation that are going to determine whether you are stressing out or not.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?”
- Marianne Williamson.
Fear that we will succeed in life. Fear that we can access the superpowers we secretly know we possess. Fear that we can become the superhero we sense in our hearts we truly are! We know that if we go after our superpowers we have to prove ourselves worthy of them and that scares the hell out of us! If we only had the courage to do what we’re supposed to do in life, where would we be?
We will teach you how to manage stress and how to conquer your fears.
What social media has made us think we need to do to be healthy: 6 meals a day, going to the gym for hours, counting calories, obsessing about everything and being perfect. IIFYM, Paleo, Ketogenic Diet, Vegan, Pescatarian, Carnivore, Vegetarian, Doughnutarian (we made that up), you name it: There are so many “diets” out there, it’s insane! These things are overwhelming, unsustainable for most people and are completely unnecessary to live a happy and healthy life.
We have to be proactive and we have to start self-educating and be our own health advocate. Take personal responsibility for what we are putting into our bodies so that we can avoid the diseases, poor performances, mental issues and other struggles that have become the norm in our society. What works for you and what food do you believe will optimize your body and mind the best way possible? That’s what you should strive for, not what the latest fitness magazine or health documentary says!
We will teach you how to better understand proper nutrition and how to find balance and structure to lead the life you crave.
We tend to overcomplicate training and exercise in general, until it becomes a stress factor and the result often becomes that we do nothing instead. Our body is undoubtedly, the easiest and the most accessible piece of workout equipment to use anywhere, anytime. Use it! Dare to try new exercises and new angles. Explore your body, discover your limits, range of motion and work on it. Don’t be afraid!
Exercise doesn’t necessary need to be a workout session at the gym every time. Focus instead on doing some type movement: Walk your dog, play with your kids, go for a bike ride, play with your friends, go for a swim or whatever you feel like doing. It’s more important that you actually enjoy it. Play and have fun!
Daily movement isn’t simply necessary for keeping a trim figure or decreasing the risk of heart disease. In fact, it’s necessary to generate emotional stability and mental clarity.
We will teach you how to make movement a practical and enjoyable part of your life.
When you’re overly stressed, one of the first things to suffer is your sleep. It doesn’t get better that the majority of us go to sleep way too late. “Killing” the time with binge-watching TV or Insta-scrolling on your phone for hours until it accidentally lands on your face. Start prioritizing your sleep so you can get the necessary sleep to recover from the challenges you faced the day before and to wake-up fresh and energized for the day to come!
Whether it is from a hard workout or a stressful day at work, sometimes we need to listen to our body and make time for recovery by resting, relaxation, meditation or getting some quality time with just ourselves. When we manage the constant triggering of the stress response, we are able to recover and repair from exercise and the battles of everyday life with greater ease.
We will teach you how to improve sleep quality and recovery.
